I am the Sales Manager responsible for all sales activity across the Specialised Canvas, Proflight Bags and Flexiplastics divisions within the Specialised Canvas Group.
This month Specialised Canvas were involved in the beginnings of the Fat Face Christmas Campaign. The campaign took us to a snowy scene with beautiful market stalls displaying the latest of Fat Face’s autumn/winter fashion collection. The high street chain used a selection of solid wooden structures and more basic stands requiring a market stall style canopy top. A Sheffield based school set us a bit of a challenge ahead of the summer months. Mylnhurst Primary School required a covered space in a wooded area, but were keen not to damage the environment at the same time. A pair of bespoke specialised canvas services covers were used to help out in vital repairs to the Charing Cross railway bridge (otherwise known as Hungerford Bridge). The covers helped to create a secure platform for engineers to safely complete the required works. Mr Mick Arnold approached us with this challenging vehicle cover job due to the expertise of the specialised canvas department. Mick’s problem was fairly common – needing to keep his cargo dry whilst in transit. However the vehicle and the load were something a little more special!
