Sales Administrator - Vacancy

The role of Sales Administrator is a key position within the Banner Box Print Solutions team located in Chesterfield, Derbyshire.

Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £20,363 per year.

40 hours per week: 8-hour shifts | Monday to Friday

Sales Admin

General Information

As part of the Specialised Canvas group, Banner Box is a sale led organisation and strives to put the customer at the centre of everything that we do. Providing the best advice, service and products available in the large format print market. We provide excellent opportunities for candidates who demonstrate that they have the skills and motivation to contribute to the growth and success of the business.

 

Major Areas of Responsibility

  • General sales administration
  • External order processing and purchasing using the CRM System.
  • Provide customer advice and service.
  • Following up enquiries with customers within the agreed Company timescales.
  • Resolve customer issues in a professional and timely manner whilst following all relevant internal procedures. Work with sales, warehouse, transport, and support teams to fully leverage the capabilities of the organisation to drive sales and satisfy our customers.
  • Communicate, liaise, and negotiate internally and externally to develop profitable and sustainable relationships with customers.
  • Effectively handling inbound Customer sales enquiries via telephone, emails and in person.
  • With training, the role does have scope for development transitioning more into a Sales focus role.
  • Support the Business and Sales Manager with products development, projects, and marketing.

 

Experience, Knowledge & Skills

  • Administrative: 1 year (preferred)
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Persuasive communication skills with the ability to adapt the message and tone to suit different situations, including written oral and interpersonal
  • Ability to manage relationships with clients, prospects, suppliers, colleagues (subordinate and senior) effectively.
  • Excellent personal and time management skills.
  • Ability to effectively multi-task and prioritise highly demanding daily responsibilities.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft packages.
  • Experience using CRM systems (advantageous not essential)

Working arrangements

Ability to work during core business hours on weekdays from our Chesterfield office, 08:30-17:00 (40 hours per week). This is not a position with remote working and there is free car parking on site
