Textile products are integral to the success of all transport operations, covering goods in transit is essential to ensure their arrival in good condition. Covering a load can be done in many different ways but virtually all need some king of fabric product. Specialised Canvas have served the haulage industry for over 30 years.

Flat Sheets / Tarpaulins

Perhaps the simplest of our products, but still important when covering goods on a vehicle. For the haulage industry we manufacture sheets from re-inforced PVC and Cotton Canvas, All materials are waterproofed and they can be finished with ropes and shortening tabs to enable them to be adjusted for use with loads of varying sizes.

Roll Over Sheets

Rollover sheets, also known as easy sheets, have become the norm for all Tipper Lorries. They enable rapid turn around and loading as improving the health and safety. Made from a 750gsm PVC coated polyester material and designed to suit each individual vehicle.

Brick Nets / Skip Nets

Brick Nets are often used to secure bulk goods where protection from the weather is not required. Whether it is actual brick/ blocks or bulk bags of products, They act as both a load restraint and cover holding the load in place and preventing objects from becoming loose in transit. They are constructed from knotted rope and available in a range of different gauges to suit the product being carried.

Curtainsides / Tilts

Curtain Sides have become the transport Industry’s preferred way of protecting goods in transit. They are much quicker for the operator to use than individual flat sheets and provide a large dry volume for palletised goods to be transported on the back of vehicles. They can range in size from ‘Transit’ sized vehicles up to full 40ft Trailers. Manufactured from 900gsm Super-heavy Duty PVC.

Lashing Straps & Accessories

Lashing Straps and Load restrains compliment our transport range. These vital pieces of kit ensure that goods arrive at their destination in one piece and prevent them from working loose in transit causing damage to themselves or a danger to others. Ratchet Strap Assemblies are available in a range of length and strengths.

Equipment Bags

The efficient storage and protection of equipment is vital to the organisation of any business. Our industrial grade materials are designed to withstand sustained use. When used on vehicles equipment bags are often subjected to high levels of abrasion from road film and the effects of being exposed to high winds as a vehicle travels. We can provide tailored bags for any piece of equipment.
